The First Look Call

This is a conversation, not a sales pitch. We talk about where you are, where you want to be, and whether Finchly feels like the right fit—professionally and personally. If it does, we get to work on your Financial Edit.

You'll leave with a clear sense of fit and a personalized roadmap on the way.

Your Financial Edit

Before you commit to anything or pay a cent, we build your personalized financial roadmap—every strategy, every account, every next step, in order. We walk through it together on a live call so you can see exactly how we'd approach your finances. This is also where your monthly fee is set, based on your situation's complexity.

You'll leave with a complete picture of what working together looks like—and everything you need to decide with confidence.

Greenlight & Setup

You decide to move forward. Your agreement is signed, your subscription begins, and onboarding kicks off. We bring you into our planning platform, you connect your accounts, and we handle the rest.

You'll leave with everything set up and in motion.

The Working Edit

This is where the foundation gets built. We open accounts, implement tax strategies, consolidate old 401(k)s, set up retirement accounts, coordinate with your CPA, and manage your investment portfolios where applicable. We work in the order that matters most for you—and nothing gets missed.

You'll leave with a solid financial foundation and the right pieces in place.

Momentum

Once the foundation is set, we shift into proactive, strategic mode—advanced tax optimization, retirement planning, investment rebalancing, and the kind of moves that only happen when your advisor truly knows your business. We meet twice a year for strategy reviews, with phone and email access anytime in between. The longer we work together, the more powerful it can become.

You'll have an ongoing partner who knows your business, your goals, and what's coming next—so your finances run in the background and you never have to think about it.
Asset allocation is an investment strategy that will not guarantee a profit or protect you from loss. Rebalancing may be a taxable event. Before you take any specific action be sure to consult with your tax professional. Distributions from traditional IRA's and employer sponsored retirement plans are taxed as ordinary income and, if taken prior to reaching age 59 ½, may be subject to an additional 10% IRS tax penalty. Converting from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA is a taxable event.

Investment Management

Investment management is a natural part of the Full Edit Process for most clients—with a reduced, tiered AUM fee based on assets managed. Don't have investable assets yet? No problem. The monthly subscription covers everything in the meantime, and we add investment management in when you're ready.

Assets Under Management (AUM) fee is deducted quarterly from the account value directly. Generally, householding your accounts will result in a financial benefit to you due to reduced overall management fees; you should consider householding where applicable. Finchly Finance uses the program My Advice Architect for all advisory accounts. Please refer to firm's ADV Part 2A and the client's agreement for additional platform, strategist or any related fees that may apply.
